Collaborative and affirming LGBTQIA+, anxiety and depression counseling in Illinois
**Please note that at this time I do not have availability for new clients**
I believe every person has inherent worth and dignity, and we all deserve someone who can walk alongside us, affirm our stories, and help guide us toward living a more authentic life. That's why I became a counselor, and I enter each session with those values in mind.
As a bi/queer-identified counselor, I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community and people with mood and thought disorders. I work with adults, teens and children who are seeking to work with their counselor to achieve their goals, reduce internal barriers such as low mood and limiting thoughts and behaviors, and learn and practice coping skills. I recognize that you are the expert in your own life, and I'll collaborate with you on your goals, check in frequently about how you feel about the approaches we're taking, and pivot my approach if you offer feedback.
